A memorial service was held today (Thursday) at the Nachalat Yitzchak cemetery In the Givatayim-Tel Aviv border to mark the 81st anniversary of the murder of the founder of the Lehi (a pre-1948 military organization) movement and its first commander Avraham "Yair" Stern. Among those present were Knesset Speaker Ohana, Minister Akunis and Knesset members Sukkot and Kellner, former Chief Rabbi Rabbi Israel Meir Lau, and Lehi veterans and their families.
